David Myles

David Myles' songs are infectiously hummable. He was recently named a First Place Winner in the 2006 International Songwriting Competition, and was nominated for both an East Coast Music Award and a Canadian Folk Music Award in the last year.

The majority of David's shows are solo performances. One man, one guitar, and lots of songs and stories. However, he is increasingly playing in a trio format featuring some of Canada's finest players. These shows are particularly interesting as they allow David to play trumpet, his first instrument.

David Myles has an impressive list of accolades to his name, including 2006 International Songwriting Competition First Place Winner in the Folk/Singer-Songwriter Category and performance credits range from the CBC, Blue Olive and the ECMA's.
